HERE'S HOW IT IS DONE:

IN POT INTHE KILN BEFORE FIRING: Bottle is surrounded by a wire restraint and spacer blocks to protect the kiln walls from the expanding clay.	THE POT IN THE KILN AFTER FIRING: After firing, the expanded bottle presses tightly against the wire restraints, and tilts sideways. The white patches are the original skin of the bottle.
